this week

W.A.L.T Learning to put more detail

The one thing I learnt this week was algebra to me learning that was a big help because algebra is hard for me.

the one thing I enjoyed this week at school was Pe because it keeps me fit and it's really fun.

the one thing I need to work on is my talking because I am very social and I talk a lot with my friends.

holidays

On the holidays I and my family had a BBQ and on that day it was hot so we needed it, after the rest of my family arrived we started putting the meat on the BBQ, lamb, chicken and pork while the meat was cooking  we had to get the other food like vegetarian, taro, salad and potatoes with buns.

2 hours had past and everything was ready so we set up the table and dug in my favourite part was the meat and potato salad the meat was tender and the potato salad was creamy, when everyone was done we cleaned the table and kitchen and had ice cream, the ice cream was refreshing and sweet after dessert we played outside, the games we played were catch, duck hunter and volleyball.

Half en hour flew by and we were tired so we went in and watched a movie the movie we watched was IT chapter 2.

Things I need to work on in School

The 1 thing I enjoyed it the first week back at school was seeing friends I haven't seen in a while.

The 1 thing I need to focus on in class is my reading because of my reading is not bad but it's not good either.

My goal for next week is to keep my voice down because sometimes I can be loud. R.O.A.R = Respect.

Problem solving

1 The one thing that I have learnt in problem solving is how to collaborate with people. because sometimes it can get hard to concentrate on our work

2 The one thing I need to work on in problem solving   is my noise level because other people are also  working.

3 The skills that I use in problem solving the ability to collaborate, participate and the ability to listen because with out any of theses the team will fail .

teacher strike day

The 2 reason teachers went on strike on 29 of May is because of 2 reasons, the first one is the workload. the 2  reason is that teachers aren't getting paid enough.

I agree because there aren't many teachers and because it does not look like a great job and because the pay teachers aren't getting enough to support themselves and some student arent buying stationery.
I think teachers should get paid more.

Revolution tour

on the 26/5/19 the school went to the hall because of the revolution tour was here to put on a show and the front person was a person named Ben my first favourite part was about when Ben was a kid and he had a friend named Nathan they had lots of fun but one day Bens, dad sat him down and told him that Nathan had died Ben was really sad but when he arrived at Nathans funeral lots and lots of people were there Ben was confused but when Nathans mum came up for a speech and she pulled out a letter from a girl that went Nathans school and it read '' Hi I don't have many friends but whenever Nathan could see me in school he would come up to me and asked how I was''. then Ben finally clicked when he realised why so many people were at Nathan funeral, it was because he was kind.

The second story that I loved was a story about a kid in the hospital. Tom was a kid that lost his eyesight during a surgery to remove a tumour in his brain but he had a friend named Mac, Mac had a disease that could not be cured and everyday Tom would ask Mac to tell him what was happening outside so he did, he did it every day. but one day the nurse told Tom that Mac had passed away the next mourning  Tom ask the nurse to look out the window and tell him what's happening outside, the nurse was confused and told him that this room is enclosed and that there are no windows. Tom was confused at first but then he smiled and he realised that Mac was painting a pitcher for him.

The Revolution Tour taught me a lot about kindness.

Science Fair

On  March 29  DHT and other classes went to the Science Fair  in the hall some of them were about pressure , radiation and air. My favourite was the shadow light, all you have to do is stand in the closet then they close the door then there will be a flash of bright light then you turn around and you're shadow will stay still even if you move. They talked about atoms , gravity and fire. We also had the sit down so they can tell us about gravity and fire  and it was amazing.

Spirit

On March 22 DHT and a bunch of other classes went to Maori land to see short films my favourite shot film was Spirit it is about a brother and sister who sits down to watch T.V and the T.V cuts out and the brother try's to tune the T.V and the sister sees a nuns spirit and it freaks her out then the brother burn a sage. That's were it ends.

A simple sentence

I love chocolate cake and croissants.I love playing and sleeping.
